Complete and utter bull shit, IMO.

If someone had stopped Hitler in 1938 then there would be 30 million additional Jews and countless other people in this world. Lives were snuffed out by tyrants throughout history. If you could kill one Hitler and save millions would you do so?

We used a nuke to end WWII. My father fought the Japanese and would have been on the invasion force to take Japan. He may have died in the attack and my life would have never occurred. Thousands of Americans would have been effected if we had stopped and negotiated like we did in the gulf in 1991.

Using force to end or prevent conflicts is a noble cause worthy of the highest sacrifice. The alternative is more horrible.

Does stopping Saddam make Bush a tyrant or a saint? That is the question. Bush saw the impact of 9-11 and said, what if these bastards had a nuke? Would they use it? The answer is yes. If they nuke N.Y. then what do we do?

What gives us the right to preempt this mad man? The right that God gaves us to do the right thing regardless of the law, world opinion, or the opinion of one radical writer for the sake of "peace" who would have allowed Hitler to rule the world.
