China Telecom Corp. (CHA) filed a $3 billion initial public offering with underwriters Morgan Stanley (MWD), Merrill Lynch (MER), China International Capital Corp., CS First Boston (CSR), Goldman Sachs Asia (GS) JP Morgan (JPM), Lehman Brothers (LEH) and Salomon Smith Barney (C). It'll trade on the New York Stock Exchange. The telecom provider is expected to kick off the week of Oct. 21. |
