The only reason the Markets deserve to go higher is if IT spending comes back or show signs of coming back. Remember the current Market levels are reasonable when that occurs. Since that won't occur real soon though, the big question is "When will traders start looking ahead?" It used to be that the Market looked ahead 6 months. Now it looks like we will get little rallies amidst further downfalls. Then we get tax loss selling as we approach year end. The picture ain't pretty, but then the January effect could be very interesting next year.
