Is the best behind gold stocks?
The best gains have been had, now it's time to play smart.
mips1.net

Two interesting points in the article, both of which I have previously made:

"The tale is cautionary, something Rick Rule of Global Investors was quick to point out: "the easiest money has been made." This is not to say that all the money has been made. Rule says a focus on fundamentals will yield value; keep an eagle eye on net present values and don't worry about the price"

"Whatever you do, don't buy and hold in expectation of a moonshot. We've had the moonshot and only the best professionals will get out at the very top of this market. Take profits when you can, that's what they are for."

Everything went up when gold went from $275ish to $325ish, and all you folks should be happy with 3-5X gains. When we eventually go up another $50, not everything is going to go 3-5X again. Stock selection is going to be much more important, and it is going to be harder to make money. Likewise, when you do make money, take some profits !
