<<Perhaps what the RV industry is experiencing is a shift in demand from consumer to Business. It makes perfect sense that companies look for ways to make a lasting impression on their field networks that a properly customized vehicle could bring to the table.>>

Recent news is pointing towards that too. The Becker win is for LUXURY Mobile Offices. Other similar wins should follow.

But what is the next step after that? When these people travel, they arrive at an airport, and are met by ... an ORDINARY Limo. What a come down! <g>

How long before Limo rental agencies in all the big cities need to add at least a few high end "mobile office" Limos? This will turn into a competitive issue, as the ones that offer such services will win the high end customers, and the ones that don't will lose them. These people will start to demand mobile connectivity wherever they go.

There are many tens of thousands of Limos in the world (no DD, but I live near an airport and there are Limos everywhere). The low-profile antenna is a perfect match for a Limo, as when painted it will look just like the Limo just has a roof rack. KVH has a very large market here, just waiting to evolve. I don't think it will take too long, either.
