>>The reason for ALL OF THIS is because the goal of regime change -- no the act of regime change as a means to disarm

You're wrong. The US government adopted regime change as our national goal because we couldn't trust the Iraqi regime to disarm...and for good reason. The Iraq regime actively resisted their agreement to disarm while continuing to pursue WMD programs.

Powell said it this past week on Meet the Press. He said that if Hussein had been merely a survivor, he would have disarmed.

Now whatever credibility he had with his agreement is shot as far as the US is concerned. The US wants him evicted off the world stage. This is all about arms where they shouldn't be (in spite of signed, international agreements).

When I have an employee who isn't doing his job, and I fire him, it's NOT about "firing him." It's about getting the job done.

Americans don't care if Hussein runs Iraq. We just can't be threatened. He has threatened to push the US off the Arabian penninsula. He can threaten us all he wants if he can't do anything about it. The problem is he CAN. The US is his delared enemy. Get it?
