Lizzie,

The stock swindle isn't how much phony paper you end up with in the end, but in how much you can convert. I see Nicholas and Samueli as being in the same class as, for instance, Gary Winnick of Global Crossing or Jim Crowe of Level(3). All of these gentlemen have been enriched to a fabulous amount by dumping shares on unsuspecting and lied-to investors. It's an irrelevancy, in the real world, how many shares a CEO or Chairman holds when his corporate bag goes empty. What is crucial of how much of the depreciating asset, i.e. stock, he can pass off to the bigger fool. In that regard, Nicholas and Samueli are clear winners, and the investing public a clear loser.
