You can't do that. There is not a 5 wave pattern off the Aug 22 high no matter how you stretch it. There is no channel and Elliot theory implies a 5 wave impulse MUST channel.

The problems with the count you outline is that wave 2 is somethng like 2 days long at the most and wave 4 is 5 days or almost 3 times as long. In fact, your 2 of 5 is slightly bigger than the wave of larger degree. Subwaves need to be smaller than waves of higher degree, not larger. You also cannot channel the entire move using the wave 2 and 4 boundaries. No channel, no impulse.

So far all we have are 3 waves down off the Augg 22 high with the 3rd still in progress which means it is likely an A-B-C. The reason I say this is because the current move down from the Sept 11 high, the 3rd wave or the C as I am seeing it, has a lot of 3 wave moves in the subwaves. In other words, waves 1 of C, and 3 of C as well as the subwaves of 3 of C where 3 of C extended (waves 1 of 3 of C, 3 of 3 of C, and 5 of 3 of C) all have 3 wave moves rather than 5 wave impulses (again, no channels). Whenever you have 3 wave subwaves inside a 5 wave move where there should be 5 wave subwaves, it implies it is a C wave and not a wave 3 as that pattern is terminal.

The channeling characteristic is important and necessary to define an impulse and is often the most overlooked rule.
