This is the unfortunate, and deadly, part of Islam. Excellent post from the "Bush" thread, Michael. I never read it because it is so contentious over there.

I have concluded that all we can do is take our attack to to the Islamists and Arabs who oppose us one step at a time. We widen it only when forced to. I hope the coming knockout of Iraq will give us some leverage. The constant "Din" from the anti-war crowd that "Violence never solves the Problem" and "We are only going to make it worse" has been proven dead wrong already, IMO.
