The return of Big Al ... was nice to see. Definitely a political lightweight, but his presence appears to be needed now that no office-holding Democrat has the balls to take on this incredibly stupid President. I am surprised how easily Dubya manipulates Tony Blair. What gives here? The English public isn't even behind the Iraq attack. The failure of leadership on all levels in U.S. society is becoming astonishing. It's like the Clinton years were an illusion. The thieves who fleeced the federal government during the Reagan years seem to have simply moved to Wall Street for further fleecing during the Clinton years. Maybe the assorted Bush administrations are mindless pauses. /john
