If we run a foreign policy that does the same thing as the Israelis does, we'll get the same result that the Israelis have. We had the "Israeli" policy before 9/11. The left in Israel ran things and kept trying to negotiate with, and appease the Palestinians. If they got tough we backed them off. That is why they got "endless confrontations and constant wars". Those days are over. The right in Israel and here are now running things, and things are starting to shape up.
