TD, Simply stated, the level the Peso found on its own was not a level the govt. liked. -g- But we are now in a position similar to Mexico after its crash, with the difference being that Phillipine stocks are much more undervalued than Mexican stocks were at that time. And the fund price reflects that fact, holding fairly steady in this turmoil. I am hoping to buy more at $12 and am still waiting.

Basically, you know that I like to buy when there is blood in the streets. There is now economic blood in the streets of Manilla, and I'm no Manilla folder. -g- MB
