The Koran does not impose conversion, nor does it say "you'll be killed if you're not muslim". In fact, it says "treat other believers equally".

I'm no expert on the Koran, but thats my impression after reading it.

One can read snippets and say "see, I told you so", but to do justice one has to read the whole book, and decipher how it applies to one's life.
