If 14 MP digi cams become common, it will be a massive boost for the flash companies. I guess the typical digicam these days is around 2 - 3MP.

There has to be a point though where the marginal utility of increased resolution declines significantly, as the human eye will be unable to tell the difference. Any keen digi photographers have an opinion on where that point will come? I'm fairly happy with the quality of my Pentax 3.3 MP, but I'm not a particularly demanding user.
