It is great fun to see how he rigged things for his use, and for efficiency. For example, he had an elaborate system of dumbwaiters connecting the dining room to the kitchen, so that he needn't have a serving staff hovering around, but could have greater privacy with his guests. He had his study next to his bed chamber, so that he could arise early to catch the morning light for reading and architectural drawing. There were lots of details about little improvements and experiments he made. And yes, I cannot see how anyone could mistake his bust......
