Eric, Re: Dan's post is a bit over the top, but if AMD didn't exist and the justice department didn't force invention of another AMD, I'm certain the pace of microprocessor speed improvement and cost reduction would have been quite a bit slower over the last twenty years. ....which might have allowed software to catch up to hardware innovations, and we all wouldn't be in our current mess of a rapidly commoditized market? Sounds great to me (at least from an investment perspective). wbmw
