I'm betting dragon

Seems like a sensible choice. There are lots of dragons, monsters, gremlins of various descriptions in the offing.

Our valiant knight needs to be able to brandish the two handed sword once the lances run out and his horse is killed after heroically slaying legions of dragons.

Once the sword blade is broken on the armored neck of some remaining dragon, he needs to fish out the mace (not the spray.. a big lump of iron with spikes sticking out of it on a short chain with a small iron stick as a handle) and show some style against a multiple dragon attack.

When some monster swallows the mace (as a snack) he needs to draw his daggers and slash the multi heads off monsters as they make a dreadful lunges at our hero.

then... What!!! he has already used up all those weapons and is only up approximately 0.75 dragons?? Oh dear! :-( <g>
