NYCB, you're not getting it. What was wrong with getting a 110% gain on ESST calls over a 2 day period?

Or a 40% gain in 2 days on ACF? 85% in 2 weeks?

Or an 80%-100% gain on ORB and MIR in 2 days?

or 110% on AKLM over a 2-3 week period?

It isn't about what a stock does over a 3-6 month period. It's what is does AFTER YOU BUY IT, right?

Sometimes stocks that people view as POS's (and maybe are), get way, way oversold. That's the beauty if you can sense the turn. If if gets oversold by 15-30%+ which is common, then you really have a very good REWARD/RISK.

That's what this thread is all about. Good quality stocks may only get oversold 1-10%, so sometimes you can actually do better on the less than stellar companies, if you TRADE them, not hold them
