Then you are thinking that the "understanding" that a rabbit is an ungulate is an understanding? I am thinking that is a misunderstanding (and can be a misunderstanding whether or not anyone else is involved. YOU misunderstand the meaning of rabbit and ungulate and their relationship in our language if you think a rabbit is an ungulate.). I think a misunderstanding like that is also key to one's own understanding of something. I also think it is more than semantics- unless you are using semantics to mean the teachnical study of words, and the relationship of symbols to words, in which case it is semantics, but it is also the understanding of semantics. You, of course is just a rhetorical device, and does not mean "you", whoever you are.
