desktop and laptop pc are networked now. They share each others printers and files from their 'shared' folders.

However, that may not last as I've had the pc icons disappear from network neighborhood for no apparent reason.
But even then I could print over the network.

I use Linksys hardware. Win98 and Zone Alarm.
