I didn't scream (at most I made a mild grumble) about the airlines getting the emergency chunk of cash they got awhile back but it shouldn't be a continual thing. If people don't want to fly as much then some airlines should go out of business and we shouldn't try to stop this process with subsidies. Tim, I think it may be better to be proactive when it comes to the airlines and make them merge or close down rather than wait til they go bankrupt. I worry that an airline on the verge of bankruptcy will let their maintenance deteriorate and thereby, endanger lives through reduced safety. ted
