AMD is so poor at marketing or setting standards that even though Rambus was a bust, Intel still had plenty of time to get into and make DDR a standard. The same thing could happen with X86-64. AMD could stumble/delay with it and Intel still will have time to get into it and establish the standard (with x86-64). It's unfolding right before your eyes. Jim
