Haqihana,

I have a question for you. Would you risk your life for your fellow man? What God given rights would you personally sacrifice for your fellow man?

Would you sacrifice your God given right to self-determination? The tyrant Saddam has murdered, and will continue to murder, any of his “officials” that disagree with him.

Would you sacrifice your God given right to privacy? The tyrant Saddam is the master of five layers of secret police that spy on the people, in order to maintain his personal power.

Does the phrase, “Give me liberty, or give me death” apply only to you?

Some inscriptions from the Statue of Liberty, a gift from France.

Our defense is in the spirit which prized liberty as the heritage of all men, in all lands everywhere. Destroy this spirit and you have planted the seeds of despotism at your own doors.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Liberty is the air America breathes . . . In the future days, which we seek to make secure, we look forward to a world founded upon four essential freedoms . . . freedom of speech and expression . . . freedom of worship . . . freedom from want . . . freedom from fear.
FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT

The freedom and happiness of man . . . are the sole objects of all legitimate government.
THOMAS JEFFERSON
