Announced on 7/21/97 partial list of Rsys' INTime partners: Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation, AVL, Baycom Electric, Cimetrix, City of Los Angeles, Concurrent Sciences, Cutler-Hammer, General Motors Powertrain, Honeywell, Hundai Precision Machinery, Intrinsyc Software, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Micromanagers, Micronet,Phoenix Technologies PICO Group, Rockwell Software, Steeplechase Software, Nihon Kohden, and Ziatech.
Where're telecommunication/instrumentation companies? Will InTime be a low tech software tool? Does this imply RSYS will enter a new and low margin market? Anyone has experience with this product? RSYS is an execellent hardware co. with limitted experience in software. Is iRMX savagible? Its incarnation InTime will face fierce competition. There are several NT/RT integration products out lurking to compete for the supposely and potentially huge market. Who has best strategy?
I'll be happier to hear RSYS annoucing news on its DSP front after its acq. of Sonitech.
