I agree wholeheartedly. The Fox news shows are all pretty outstanding. I watch every night and almost solely rely on them for my news. I do try to look at other news programs to get a feel for what the other side is reporting, and how they are reporting. I'm always more than amused at some of the obvious bias. Bias also exists on Fox but as my post pointed out; there is no such thing as an objective pov. What Fox has done is allowed real debate to take place.

Of all the reporters they feature, the one that surprises me the most is Greta Van Susteren. I had already formed an opinion of her based on her role at CNN. When Fox first hired her I had a hard time putting aside MY bias, but gradually, and over time she has proven to be very good at stifling any intentional bias and routinely goes after facts rather than opinion based discussion. I have to give her a lot of credit for that, and now I don't like missing her show.

Fox allows for intellectual thought. They sometimes leave questions hanging that forces their audience to think about and find answers. That is what is so appealing, and what makes their news shows so popular. People appreciate getting all of the available information and thinking for themselves.

My sister and her husband are good examples of Americans believing what they are told. It is a very sad situation.
