If they buy PC's from Dell, HPQ, IBM, etc. they're buying OEM Windows (through the OEM). The point is that it shows up as an OEM sale to Microsoft, and that Microsoft therefore gets less revenue than it would if those were sales of retail windows versions - but it's still several times what Intel gets, per PC, with much lower marginal costs.

I don't know of any major company that doesn't buy such PC's, and I doubt you do either.
