Where's the disconnect, Kumar? If it's wrong to blame Gore for 9/11 because hindsight is 20-20, it's equally wrong for Gore to blame Bush for 9/11, because hindsight is 20-20.

Bush was sworn in as President January, 2001. The hijackers had been living in the US, taking flying lessons, prior to that date. Guess who was Vice President?

I disapprove of the entire finger pointing exercise, I don't think it's intellectually honest because based on all evidence with has been revealed to date, nobody knew, or could have known, what these men intended. They behaved perfectly legally. No evidence of missed communications here in the US have turned up yet. In retrospect, with 20-20 hindsight, we see places where, if only we had known, we could have stopped them.
