Far from convincing on Sharon versus Arafat. Barak said last week on US tv that had he been PM; his responses to terror would have been harsher than Sharon's. Nataniahou, for months, advocates shipping Arafat on his Karine A.

A Palestinian state hasn't always been on the agenda of all Israeli PM for sure, but in the last 11 years, all were more than willing to get a deal, a deal both sides can claim they won, at best.

Sharon said time and again he was ready for painful concessions.

It is simplistic to imagine that he does not have a clear picture of the situation, that he is hung up by some military success he had etc.

Hey, this guy doesn't even believe in the existence of the god of the Jews. So what else is sacred for him besides life and peace ?
