I went for a run with my running club this am.This is a group of about 20 people who dont' buy individual stocks, but have 401k's etc. Someone got me started talking about the market. I shared my rather bearish thoughts and there wasn't one in the group that thought we could go lower. I said at least sit out the next few months in cash. No takers. I feel this is representative of John and Jane Q public.
Where will they throw in the towel? My guess is around dow 5000 and nas 700.
