Thanks for that very thoughtful reply. There's certainly a kernel of truth and wisdom to what you say. We appear to have different focuses. You look at the current system of trade and see how it is better than many alternatives that worked less well in past. I look at the future that our present course is leading to, i.e. dominance by multinationals with a quarter-by-quarter rape & pillage perspective and attendant militarization of the planet and I submit that we can clearly do better for civil society and for community.
