The historically "happy" period extending from November through Christmas gets my vote as it would likely catch the greatest number of investors off guard.


Earlie, I don't know if you follow this thread, but Jeff here has been saying for some time that he thinks it happens after Oct options ex. That's not exactly November, but it will be when people are counting on the rally at the beginning of the "seasonally strong" period.
