2003 Nissan XterraThe Tilley Foundation just took delivery of this new SUV to convert to a fully electric vehicle to drive along with the DeLorean during their next demonstration. This vehicle was chosen to provide clear evidence that any
of today's popular vehicles can function with electric motors and battery banks kept charged with the TEV device.

This SUV is a 5 speed stick with 4 wheel drive. The conversion process will not change the outward appearance or the interior functionality in any way, for all intents and purposes (save the power plant) it will be like any other Xterra on the road.

Another test run for Validation is set for less than 30 days, hopefully from today (9-15-2002). We expect to also run the new SUV that will be converted to all electric with our device along with a Golf Cart and an Electric Bicycle. The test will most likely be on the Interstate at normal speeds of 65 to 70 miles per hour. We expect to run at least 400 miles on only 12 off the shelf type batteries the golf cart will be held at a different location being tested by another independent group for verification.

A list of who will perform the validation test will be provided.

We discovered that in addition to our bearing problem on the left side that on the right side the transmission axle was hitting the top of the car frame on the curves at 96 mph and was cutting the shaft. These problems have been corrected but we will not do this race track thing for test....normal cars are just not set up for race track driving....a lesson quickly learned.

We have encountered some stiff opposition to stop this project....however, no matter what, it will be completed....I do not accept intimidation, threats or other attempts very well and it just makes me more determined than ever to get this product out and prove it.
