Last night, Ron Insana (very astute) on CNBC interviewed
BOTH Jerry Frankel of Harvard (former member Council
of Economic Advisors) and Allen Sinai (President,
Chief Economist, Decision Economics, formerly with DRI).
.
Both were extremely nervous about the current debt levels,
and Sinai, in particular, worried that a few major financial
institutions might fail in the near future.
.
I note, for the record, this negative foreboding is similar
to what Sinai provided on "Wall Street Week" on the Friday
preceding "Black Monday" in 1987.
