Ahoy Captain! I agree with you that 100 million to Buffet is no a lot. Further more he got a sweet deal. Nine percent with interest rates being what they are these days Is sweet.
After refusing to invest in Tech all these years I find it hard to imagine that Buffet is playing fast and loose with this deal. Sure would tarnish his reputation if the first Tech deal he ever made went sour. I think it means Buffet thinks that LVLT will be one of the survivors. If so it would be probably be a good long term investment to pick some up while the market is on the way down. Question is at what price? I won't be getting the %9 a year that Buffet is getting so I figure to get as good a deal he is getting I need to pick it up a lower than $3.41. The way the market is acting I think that is coming up sooner or later.
