Unfortunately, as long as we pay the high prices, they will keep going up. If you don't put good product on the field, then people will stop coming. That's the problem... the owners dole out more money for talent, the ticket prices go up. Face it, it's the have and have nots. The haves WILL pay what it costs to see a winning team. How do you solve it? Bust up the Unions? Maybe. But very unlikely when money is on the line and their job is to protect the players, not YOU the consumer. Take the Milwaukee Brewers for example. They built a new stadium with the help of some taxpayer money, and filled it with stinky players, including a shortstop that is taking himself out of games for the rest of season so he won't break the strikeout record. The public can wait only so long when hearing "we are rebuilding, etc." The Brewers have been waiting since 1982, and the Yankees are in the World Series how many times since then?(what about the CUBS!!!??? DIRECT TV football package doesn't look too bad to me these days. It's going to get worse before it gets better.
