i have win me at home and win 98 se at work. i am doing a lot at work. i have corel wordperfect suite 8. i also have word 2000 and ms works. i have adobe acrobat. i have omnipage pro. i have aol. i have 56k modem. i have a case- people send e-mail attachments in word and excel. my word often crashes. sometimes it freezes. sometimes, i do a document in wordperfect, they send it back in word, my paragraphing, formatting is screwed up. they send letters with a logo on them. i get messages about normal.dot, global templates. i end up with a bunch of word icons at bottom of screen and messages re file being in use by another application or user. finally, i get not enough memory or disk space- and i have 384 ram, now.
