Wow...sounds like you're having some problems all right.

One step at a time. Since the great majority of people use Word why not try doing your documents in it instead of in Corel. Formatting is lost sometimes when switching programs. I don't understand what the logo problem is.

Since you deal with word and excel I'll assume you have Office 2000. I'd try running a repair and maybe we can get your problems lessened a little.
