Pretty damning story story on the Iranian connection to the Intifada.. including correspondence from the Iranian urging that suicide bombings continue in earnest.. presumably to distract world attention from their place in the "axis of evil" to the Palestinian issue... Not only that, but evidence that Arafat earned probably > $10 million selling Iraqi black market oil, and that Arafat pays Abu Abas, a reactivated Palestinian terrorist in Baghdad, and that Iraqi intelligence agents train Palestinian terrorists in the use of explosives and the SA-18 anti-aircraft missiles, probably for use in shooting down a civilian airliner. Finishing up with the report that Israeli intelligence now reports connections between the Ba'ath party and Al Qaeda. All told to Leslie Stahl by a youngish female Israeli intelligence colonel speaking fluent English, who handled herself well. Finally, the IDF managed not to shoot itself in the foot with its choice of spokesperson... Edit: now 60 Minutes is doing a story on Saudi fathers kidnapping their American daughters.
