Indeed she did... Much of this information isn't exactly new to folks like you and I who follow the subject.. But it's likely new for most of the American public.

What I really gleaned from it is that the Israelis are making a statement that they have sufficient evidence against both Iraq and Iran to warrant their OWN "pre-emptive" actions, should the US fail to act against Saddam.

For the Israelis, those documents are the equivalent of "9/11" style evidence.. Evidence of direct and indirect support for hostilities to be waged against Israel..

In other words, were it the US in possession of documents officially stating that Iraq had told Al-Qaeda to conduct terrorist attacks against it, we wouldn't be waiting for a UN resolution.

Congress would have already issued a declaration of war and we'd be marching through Baghdad already and preparting to do the same to Tehran.

But the Israelis? No.. they are forced to "restrain" themselves because they know the UN will do nothing with regard to issuing a UNSC resolution condemning Saddam's or Iran's support for the violence in the region.

Something folks should ponder the next they try and argue that Israel is the source of all evil in the region..

Btw, there's a rumour that Sharon has Israeli SpecOps operating in Western Iraq looking for SCUDs.. Order there personally by Sharon without official US knowledge of the Op.
