time sync problem--I believe there were CDMA dev Group articles on solving this. Suppose, though that China put a satelite in sync orbit and used it to broadcast a time signal which could be received by each base station. why would it have to sync exactly with the US atomic clock? Is it for some reason required that LEO satelites be used? Of course, they would lose GPS.
