I'm in Jersey and will vote for Toricelli

Ahhh, a "Yellow Dog" Democrat! You are up early John. I am watching Tom Friedman on "Tim Russett" on CNBC. As you know, very interesting guy. His Book was the reason for the interview.

Your earlier comment about my review of the Vietnam portion of Elliott's book is off, I think. You were probably very involved in protesting Vietnam, I was pretty passive during the entire experience. My thinking on it has been due to my reading the last ten years. So any disagreement would be of an academic nature, not due to our Politics of the time.

The Talent-Carnahan race in Missouri is still too close to call, from what I can find. It would be interesting if Talent won, but the Dems retained a majority for 2003. The Repubs could use their temporary control of the Senate to not only run the budget through, but to ram through some Judges. Oh, Politics!
