LB, But why would he do this? As a Democrat, it makes his party look bad and as you say he doesn't need it to be re-elected. Kennedy acts all holier-than-thou about a percieved 'slight' against Democratic party patriotism. Now this. It makes Kennedy and the party look the fools. Talk about irrational behaviour. No republican strategist could have hoped for more (ie mirror-imaging would not have predicted this). New theory: Maybe Baghdad is a geographic 'no-reason' zone where logic no longer works. John
