I think that David N. K. Wang is just a bit disingenuous. He states that the world semiconductor plant capacity utilization rate averaged 86 per cent for the second quarter of this year. However he ignores the fact that the utilization rate is currently falling and order pushouts and cancellations are increasing. I am sure he is aware of the recent announcements from TSM and UMC. The spin from company executives should always be taken with a large grain of salt.
