edg51; Let your own tolerances guide your future investments - averaging down only works with hind-sight! (kinda like TA, IMHO)

The sat market is saturated with capacity. The U.S. DoD will be a big user for a couple of years, but I dont think it can single handedly bring a turn around in the market. LM is not selling much in the way of sats. I would take a buyout from LM at this point only to realize a transfer of my assets from sats to integrated defense (which is cyclic as well). I would prefer to remain one of the players in the group because eventually (again in IMHO) the market will pick up and be better than today. I dont hold much for a return to past levels, just think that the future will be worth more than today's valuations.

That said, given the ride to these levels, I am not too inclined to put more capital at risk. BLS continues to show a mastery of finance. But as for a visionary - one or more vital components are lacking and I cant think his flaws are going to be corrected anytime soon.

No new money from me.
