Joe,

I downloaded WinMX program today. Haven't had the chance to try it out, but it already looks better than Kazaa. The weird thing was when it was setting up it kept telling me it couldn't detect an internet connection. When I open the software it had secondary (which is for dial-up) toggled connection. When I try to change it to primary connection (for dsl)it will not allow me to and I get the message: You cannot make a Primary connection to the WinMx Peer Network for the following reasons:
No TCP port for incoming connections
No UDP port for incoming and outgoing packets

I know you have a cable connection - were you able to use the primary connection option?
