I think back to October, when it hit 50 right before earnings were released, I sold 10 oct 40 calls @ 9 1/4 to 9 1/2.. I really was afraid I did the wrong thing.. Then I plunged the profits and then some into nov 40's and dec and jan... And it still is lower.. Every single month this stock goes lower.. But if your content with it off 60% from October, there is little I can do..
For me, I'm mad as hell, and want cube to do something about it... I want heads to roll, for expenses to be cut, and sales increased dramatically.. And the resulting profits to flow directly into the share price.
I want senior executives be forced to purchase stock with 50% of their salary. I want options to have very long expiration dates and even longer vesting periods, and no re-pricing.. Grant options @ the higher of the current price, or the average price the last 12 months. Not the current price so they can benefit from widely varying stock prices.
I want every sales person be paid only on commission, no salary, and for progressive sales targets must be met before they can earn a decent living. I want my sales people hungry for the sale. I want commissions to be annualized, such that large sales leading to stuffing the channel, and then no sales result in lower commissions, not higher.. I want a company that has the nuts to say they screwed up. That they acknowledge this fact, and lay out a plan to get on the proper course. That they see beyond two bit Korean manufactures, and realize the majority of audio / video components are sold by Sony, mits, Toshiba, RCA & Panasonic.That a manufacturer like gateway & dell and Compaq are the future of computer sales.everyone else is an also ran, and unless you can supply the big boys.. you'll be an also ran as well. |
