Hey Cayman Schwartz->SeaView says SEC probing financial results

WASHINGTON, Sept 30 (Reuters) - SeaView Video Technology Inc. <SEVU.OB>, whose products transmit voice, video, audio and data over power lines, said on Monday the Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating its financial results.

The probe began in January 2001 and was disclosed in an SEC filing. SeaView, based in Tierra Verde, Florida, said it is cooperating. Its shares are unchanged at 12 cents on the Bulletin Board.

The SEC is looking at the company's financial results and common stock performance during 2000. All of the executives involved with the allegations were replaced last year, including former president and chairman Richard McBride, who passed away in October 2001, according to the SEC filing.

"Although our legal counsel indicates that this matter will be resolved with no adverse actions against us, we can give no assurances that the SEC will not recommend an enforcement action against us," SeaView added.
