It seems to me that companies in distress are not bought out....Companies that are going great guns and have hot prospects are bought when they are at or near their stock price high not when they are under water....And I don't think that companies that have a reverse split have a track record of doing very well afterward...for one thing it causes a huge sell off as everyone gets out on that kind of a signal.....
