Dear Hunter: Thank you for your comments regarding my post #195. It is my opinion that Mr. Boonen's actions while he was CEO have caused this stock to go into a swan dive. Your perverse fixation on Paul Ebeling has obviously blinded you to the fact that Mr. Boonen's tenure at IMM was less than effective and nearly bankrupted this company. It would not surprise me if it takes six months to rebuild investor confidence in this company.

A good example is Orthologic. They received an FDA warning about comments contained in their literature March, 1996. The president did not reveal the letter to the investors because he did not feel that the information impacted on the efficacy of the product itself. At the same time, he sold 25% of his holdings. The letter was leaked and it was learned that the president sold his shares. The stock went from a post split $25 to its current $6 level. The company is defending itself from several suits alleging insider training. Orthologic is just beginning to show signs of recovery one year later.

As an MBA, you should be aware that a company that has been managed poorly by a CEO is like a tanker that has gone off course. The momentum of the poor leadership will continue long after the CEO has gone. Add in the spread of aggressively negative comments about the company, an Internet attack by vengeful or manipulative individuals and you have today's situation. To pin the blame for this company's auguring-in is myopic on your part. You are not getting the big picture because your capacity to reason is impaired by the emotions that you bring to this stock.

Your current attempt to discredit Dr. Stamm is pathetic. Why don't you use the tools that you learned in Management 101 and apply them positively rather than continue the current mudslinging and negativity?

BTW, why do you care so much about the price of this stock? Gee, if one were suspicious, one could claim that you and Peter and Alice have successfully implemented and executed a negative hype campaign to manipulate this stock to where it is today. You reached your base line and now you want to see this rise. But, you would never do something like that would you????
