Theory that conflicts with Dogma.

Actually physics conflicts in a much more serious way than evolution does. Most religous people don't understand it enough to realize the implications. Evolution may say a creator is unnecessary but does not actually say much about whether one is possible. Physics shows that a universe like ours could not be created with a plan (or at least a creator would not actually have enough control to implement a plan unless the future was already determined).
